Episode #76 – Halfway to a Hastings.
Atlas Sound, The Horrors, Beach House

After gathering all of our different resources to put The Polygraph Record jigsaw puzzle back together, I looked at our iTunes page to see what needed changing. As it turns out, since we stopped recording someone decided to give us a review. They gave us one star (out of five) with the comment “dont even bother, there reviews are ether hit or miss.” (SIC)

Now, despite the fact that the reviewer’s grammar is terrible and he can’t spell worth shit, it does bring up an interesting point. What is taste? Is taste absolute? More importantly, does this podcast have it?

I won’t bore you all with the my thoughts on this other than to say: I don’t know, I’m pretty sure it’s not, and this podcast isn’t about taste or reviews. It’s about a group of people having fun, talking music, and hopefully making you smile a little. My hope is that you have at least a fraction of fun listening to these as we do recording it. If we achieve that, I feel you should at least give us two stars.

We had a blast recording this episode. There was some drinking involved. I’m sure you can tell. It was the first time I’ve used my mobile recording unit and you’ll have to forgive me for some wonky volume levels at the beginning third of the podcast. It’ll get better. Promise.

Lastly, as things start to roll along, we would love for you to get involved. Like us on Facebook. Follow and retweet us on Twitter. Tell your friends. Give us a couple of stars on iTunes. We would love your feedback.

Thanks for listening!
