Review: First Aid Kit at Roseland, Portland — 10/19/2012
When First Aid Kit played the Wonder Ballroom last April, there was a magical moment when the Swedish sisters quieted the crowd to a still silence and asked everyone to snap their fingers. The hush over the crowd evolved to sound just like rain falling. It was a brief event, under a minute, but one that left a mark and really captured a spirit in both the performers and the audience.

Kelly’s Top Ten of 2012 (so far)
Before everyone gets all up in arms because I put together a top ten list just a day or so after my boyfriend did, I think I need to defend myself momentarily: I initially was going to write a review for Pickathon as well, but decided not to so as to avoid any redundancy in subject matter covered, or opinions about said subject matter. Now, Alex and I do have a some similar tastes, but when it comes to what our favorites are for the year, there is a clear difference in where our preferences lie.
